On Wednesday, May 28th, Rosemarie Hill will present an Employment Law Update. Rosemarie is an attorney with the law firm of Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel, P.C., and is a member of the firm’s Labor and Employment and Litigation Sections and chairs the firm's Labor and Employment Law Group. Ms. Hill counsels clients and represents employers in all areas of employment law, ranging from discrimination and retaliation lawsuits or agency claims to questions regarding hiring/firing/retention, wages, and leave. She has represented employers in employment lawsuits in state and federal courts as well as in mediations and arbitrations. She has represented clients in business litigation and arbitrations involving matters including franchise disputes, breach of contract claims, and securities matters. 
     Ms. Hill is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.  She served as a Commissioner for the Tennessee Supreme Court's Advisory Committee on Alternative Dispute Resolution and on that court's Board of Professional Responsibility Hearing Committee.  She received her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1984 and her B.A. from George Mason University in 1981.  Ms. Hill was born in 1951 in Erlangen, Germany.
